Alejandra López Campuzano
Architect at the Resilience Office | Colombia
Alejandra López Campuzano really loves to work with the community, even more than being an architect. She enjoys talking to the people to improve their living conditions and solve their problems through her work. That’s also why Alejandra considers herself a social architect – besides being Master on Urban and Environmental Processes at Medellín Resilience Office. Thanks to her job she does not only develop strategic urban plans but also has the opportunity to work on issues of circular economy, citizen participation, housing improvement, sustainability and regeneration – the key fundamentals for the cities of tomorrow. According to Alejandra it is essential to change our ways of inhabiting territories to guarantee our future as a society and respond to the main issues linked to spatial problems inherent to the human habitat.
