Christina Risinger’s profession has taught her that urban planning is not only about engineering but concerns also – or rather mostly – people, environment, and political constraints. In her work for various charities and NGOs, the link between architecture and society has always been at the core, while her political career made it clear that a firm technical background is crucial to make informed decisions. The fields Christina works in are intertwined and she considers herself privileged to leverage her expertise in each to contribute to the creation of more liveable cities. However, she knows that you cannot save the world alone but that there is nothing you can’t do with a great network of people with the same goal around you.
