Christina Neddens
Head of Unit for Urban Development Planning at City of Leipzig | Germany
As an architect and planner, Christina Neddens is engaged in implementing co-creative projects and co-productive processes to implement civic initiatives for the common good in the city. In the context of urban development, she is interested in building effective structures between citizens and administration. In cooperation with the foundation „Ecken wecken“ and the network “We in the Quarter”, a format was developed in which co-creative projects and tools from civic processes can also be utilised within the city administration by employees using their own projects for the common good. The application of the tools is seen as a contribution to the establishment of a future-oriented city administration.
